The initial version submitted by the SDSM to the Parliament envisaged the integration of the SPO within the state-run PPO, and it provided that then Special Prosecutor Katica Janeva would be promoted to State Public Prosecutor i.e. to be a deputy of prosecutor Jovevski, Hristijan Mickoski, the leader of VMRO-DPMNE, said Tuesday on TV 24’s “Otvoreno” show.

Mickoski added that back then VMRO-DPMNE was saying that this was not possible, because not only did it impede all citizens of the Republic of Macedonia to compete equally, but there was no logic to Janeva being promoted to State Public Prosecutor.

Then we knew and we had indications to what was going on, and that was the “Racket” case, the mega corruption affair, said Mickoski.
