Regardless of the political context of the European integration, we must and will continue not only with reforms but also with the building of institutions, schools, hospitals, border crossings, roads and all that is needed first to provide better conditions for our citizens, and then to reach European rules and standards, Deputy Prime Minister Bujar Osmani said at Thursday’s opening of a sports hall in the village of Cerkezi, Kumanovo.
Every year, Osmani said, the EU annually allocates over 100m euros, non-refundable funds, the money of its member states’ taxpayers, which are used for projects that provide essential support for the transformation of our society.
The opening of this hall is a symbol of our ambition to transform the education system of young people according to European standards, said Deputy Prime Minister Osmani, pointing out that the hall is part of a wider project to build 145 gyms financed by a loan from the Council of Europe Development Bank, while the project documentation is made with non-refundable IPA funds.
