The Parliament approved the appointment of five new ministers in Zaev’s Government.
Naser Nuredini is the new Environment Minister, LDP party leader Goran Milevski is in charge of the Municipal Administration Ministry while former Albanian terrorist commander Sadula Duraku leads the newly created Political System Ministry. Trajan Dimkovski is the new head of the Agriculture Ministry after his predecessor Ljupco Nikoloski was named Secretary General of the SDSM party. And finally, rheumatologist Husni Ismaili is the new Culture Minister.
Zaev was not appointed Finance Minister, as he initially wanted, but is expected to assume direct personal control over the ministry after Dragan Tevdovski was dismissed.
The proposals were approved with between 65 and 66 votes in favor.
Following the changes in the Government, Zaev said that he will propose changes in the deputy minister positions, as well as to a number of lower level officilas.
