Passengers in Gostivar refused to take Durmo company bus on Friday after a wheel on the bus jammed and dragged on the road for a short while.

The bus had already left the station, but once the malfunction appeared, all passengers left the vehicle, Alfa TV reported. The city of Gostivar remains in shock after the tragedy, and practically no family there is left unaffected by the disaster.

Durmo is the company which operated the ill fated Skopje – Gostivar bus which overturned on Wednesday afternoon killing 14. Republika reported that the company also operates a facility licensed to performs the mandatory annual mechanical checks, allowing it to avoid independent checks.
