In response to the nationwide postal workers’ strike that started Thursday morning, the National Postal Service’s board of directors has offered unionists to increase the salaries of 1,700 mail carriers and front desk clerks by 3,000 denars [EUR 49] beginning in June and give raises to administrative staff from August.
After the proposal is officially submitted, it will be reviewed by the union boards, we will prepare an agreement and if the offer is accepted and the agreement is signed, the strike will be stopped, informed the President of the Macedonian Post Union Boro Veligdanov at a joint press conference with board members and general director Jani Makraduli.
