Security at the State education inspection refused to allow the press to enter the building today, to report on a disciplinary procedure against whistleblower Georgi Ilievski.
Ilievski invited the press to attend the meeting where he expects to be punished for going public with his revelations of abuse in the state managed Tetovo University which unlawfully promoted officials from the DUI party.
The Disciplinary commission told the journalists that the room is too small to have them attend.
The inspector became a household name overnight when he refused to follow orders from his superiors and remain silent on the unlawful promotion of Education Minister Arbr Ademi, deputy Interior Minister Agim Nuhiu and other DUI officials. Ilievski said that he was directly threatened as he came forward with the revelations. He announced that he will directly expose all who threatened him during today’s commission meeting.
