Radev congratulates Pendarovski, tells him to work to implement the friendship treaty in full

Bulgarian President Rumen Radev congratulated Stevo Pendarovski on being elected as President of Macedonia.

The spirit of friendship and good-neighborly cooperaton between our two countries opens the way to achieve the joint priority that is the European perspective of “North Macedonia”, Radev told Pendarovski.

Radev also urged Pendarovski to work with Bulgaria in implementing the treaty signed in 2017, which provides that Macedonia should alter its history books and police public discourse against “unfriendly” comments.
