A 49 year old man from Skopje was arrested for posting a Facebook comment which the police found as threatening against outgoing Prime Minister Zoran Zaev.

The Interior Ministry described the threat as “serious” and aimed against Zaev’s life. The Ministry did not disclose whether the man actually had prepared an attack on Zaev, or if it was an angry comment with no material basis. The police has forwarded the case to state prosecutors.
