Telma TV reports that a Struga based construction company, which paid 223.000 EUR to Bojan Jovanovski – Boki 13 in 2018, was hoping that he will use his clout to secure a lucrative development permit. After Boki 13 failed to deliver, the company reportedly asked for its money back, with interest.
On top of extorting money from businessmen who faced criminal charges from his friend – Special Prosecutor Katica Janeva, Boki 13 was trading with development contracts, and was counting on his good relationship with top officials from ruling SDSM party. In one case, he reportedly got major Bitola based developer Siljan Micevski to agree to pay him 1.4 million EUR, an to actually pay half that sum, based on a broad contract for providing services. Media outlets are speculating whether the sum was paid to keep Micevski out of legal troubles with Katica Janeva, or if the deal also included developing a sought after piece of publicly owned real-estate in Bitola.
The other similar contract included Adrijan Amzovski and his Drim Building company from Struga, who paid the money to Jasna Mandik, deputy leader in the International Association, a bogus charity set up by Boki 13.
Unlike other businessmen, Drim gave Boki 13 a deadline of between 120 and 180 days to procure all the documents necessary to begin their agreed development. This included the site, the project and the building permit. Once the deadline expired, the company turned to Boki 13, asking for 350.000 EUR back, including the interest, Telma TV reports.
One of the possible locations Boki 13 was offering is a major riverside location in Skopje’s Karpos district, where his close friend Stefan Bogoev is the Mayor.
