The Interior Ministry gave 1.64 million EUR in contracts to companies linked to the family of Bosnian Serb leader Milorad Dodik, who is blacklisted by the US because of his nationalist policies meant to break up Bosnia.

The opposition VMRO-DPMNE party revealed the major scandal, and informs that Dodik apparently has close ties to the ruling SDSM party.

As the Government accuses citizens of pro-Russian tendencies, a controversial company is being given 1.64 million EUR in police contracts, including the purchase of 1,500 computers. And the Government sees nothing wrong here, just like it saw nothing wrong in the real-estate contracts with pro-Russian businessman Daka Davidovic. They blame the citizens, they blame the opposition, and they themselves are pushing contracts worth millions, VMRO-DPMNE said in a statement.
