The will of the people has been clearly expressed during the local elections – Zaev lost the majority in Parliament and the legitimacy to rule, said the opposition VMRO-DPMNE party.

The citizens spoke loud and clear. Zaev needs to submit the resignation he announced during the elections, and put an end to the agony. He lost by 100,000 votes – a clear sign that Macedonia needs change and that change needs to begin with Zaev, the party said in a statement.
