VMRO-DPMNE called on Prime Minister Zoran Zaev to apologize for the shocking statement he made this afternoon, in which he insulted the journalist Branko Geroski who is reporting on the major corruption scandal he is facing, and referred to his long time associate Bojan Jovanovski Boki 13, who is now the chief suspect, as a “faggot”.
Zoran Zaev is in an obvious state of panic. The evidence that are surfacing every day in the racketeering scandal are drawing ever closer to him and there is no escape from the facts. There must be accountability. VMRO-DPMNE strongly condemns the insults and the threats Zaev issued toward the journalist who reported on his crimes. VMRO-DPMNE condemns the insults on the basis of sexual orientation, the opposition party said in a press release, which details the close cooperation Zaev had with Boki 13 before the flamboyant showman was caught extorting millions from businessmen using his ties with Zaev and Special Prosecutor Katica Janeva as leverage.
“Zaev is the head of the criminal octopus, he is the brain of this operation while Boki 13, Zoki Kicheec, Katica Janeva, they are just the tentacles. It is not possible to conduct an extortion operation worth millions over years without his knowledge. Mr Zaev, you need to go and allow Macedonia to heal from your rule. There will be justice in Macedonia, but not while you are in office”, VMRO adds in its press release.
