The procedure for selection of ambassador is underway, Prime Minister Zoran Zaev confirmed today when asked by MP Antonio Milososki.

Ambassadors need to be appointed as soon as possible. In terms of the specific names, two of them are discussed, explained Zaev.

Milososki reminded Zaev of Dimitrov’s statement several years ago that “the outgoing government should not appoint ambassadors” and that as a country we should not be in a situation to recall or return ambassadors home.

The principles are different. Moreover, there will be no new government in April, May or June. The sooner you realize it, the better it will be for you, Zaev answered.
