The nomination of Zoran Popov to be Macedonia’s newly appointed ambassador to the United States was confirmed Tuesday by the Parliament’s Foreign Affairs Committee.
He presented his theses on the diplomatic mission in the United States before the Foreign Affairs Committee, behind closed doors, due to the confidential nature of the information, as a representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs pointed out. His presentation could be followed only by MPs who have security clearances.
