Three packages found at two airport offices and a railway station office in London on Tuesday appeared to contain “small improvised explosive devices” capable of igniting a small fire if opened, police say.
Counter-terrorism officers are “treating the incidents as a linked series and keeping an open mind regarding motives,” the Metropolitan Police said.
The force urged London transport hubs to “be vigilant and report suspicious packages to police,” adding that no arrests have been made.
