Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban meets with US President Donald Trump in the White House tomorrow, in a highly anticipated meeting of two like minded leaders of the Euro-Atlantic right.

Recognizing the longstanding ties between the United States and Hungary, the President and the Prime Minister will discuss ways to deepen cooperation on a range of issues, including trade, energy, and cyber security. As the leaders of NATO Allies, they will also explore opportunities to meet the many national security responsibilities of their two countries and will celebrate Hungary’s 20th anniversary as a NATO member, the White House said ahead of the meeting.

Orban is the first south-east European leader to meet with Trump in the White House this year. Both have expressed strong opposition to the established left wing – liberal elites and are shaking up politics in the US and the EU, for which they are faced with incessant attacks from parts of the press and the establishment.
