Ukrainian media outlets are reporting that the Zaporozhye nuclear plant has declared a state of nuclear threat. This is the largest nuclear plant in Europe, with six reactors on the Dnieper river, and it has seen heavy fighting as Russian forces are advancing on it from the south.

There is real nuclear danger in one of largest plants in Europe. We demand that the enemy stops firing with heavy weapons on the energy units, said plant spokesman Andriy Tuz, Ukrainian outlets reported.
