“Memories of the First World War” exhibition will open on Monday, December 24, at 12:00h, in the hall of the National Museum of Macedonian Struggle, marking 100 years from the end of one of the bloodiest and most horrific events in world history.

With the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Macedonia, the thematic multimedia exhibition covers the most important events, processes and testimonies of the Great War in Macedonia. Through various types and forms of memory – documentary materials, photographs, personal testimonies, supported by a rich museum fund, the exhibition presents the military life, but also life in a time of war from an authentic perspective.

The exhibition will be opened by Mr. Asaf Ademi, Minister of Culture of the Republic of Macedonia and Christian Thimonier, Ambassador of the French Republic to the Republic of Macedonia.
