We are investing 50 million euros in the road infrastructure for connection with Bulgaria, the Minister of Transport and Communications Blagoj Bocvarski said Tuesday during the inspection of the activities on the reconstruction of the Trstija – Bigla road.

Bocvarski stressed that the investments in new roads in the eastern region are investments in good neighborliness and that they will enable better connection and cooperation of municipalities, businesses and citizens on both sides of the border.

The Ministry of Transport and Communications, stated Bochvarski, as never before invests in the construction of new roads in the eastern region. The first part of the Stip-Kocani express road has already been built, the second part of this road is being built which is very important for connecting Stip and Kocani, but also for connecting this region with the border crossing with Bulgaria. The road from Makedonska Kamenica to Delcevo has already been rehabilitated, and work is underway on this alternative access road to Delcevo from Vinica, he said.
