Family of four needs nearly two average salaries to make ends meet

Estimates from the SSM union show that the average cost of living expenses of a family of four have reached 50,000 denars.

This means that a family needs almost two average salaries to make ends meet. Meanwhile, about 100,000 citizens in Macedonia are receiving a minimum wage, which is being completely outpaced by inflation.
