The World Bank’s Doing Business report confirms that we have an economic tsunami and a drop of seven places. There are no reforms in Macedonia and instead of going forward we are going backward, VMRO-DPMNE leader Hristijan Mickoski said in Friday’s address.
According to him, our country notes a drop in many indicators, such as starting a business, dealing with construction permits, registering property, getting credit.
He is worried that these setbacks will also have an impact on foreign direct investment at a time when countries in the region are booming.
The failed policies of Zoran Zaev and this government cannot be ignored. The harsh reality and poverty have their reasons and all show that this government is not working. Their failure destroys lives. The failures are an expected epilogue to the fact that there are no reforms. This government does not implement reforms, it does not want to do it, and it has no plan for reforms. The fact that there are no reforms has been emphasized by the EU, and, is now also pointed out by the World Bank’s top international financial institution, said Mickoski.
