Macedonia’s state-owned electricity producer ESM purchased Thursday new quantities of electricity for consumption for 7 days, ie from December 6 to 12, for which it will pay 3.85 million euros, “Faktor” reported.
The information is not publicly available on the ESM website, and “Faktor” writes that the electricity will be procured from three companies.
The highest price is 325 euros per megawatt hour, the other two are just over 324 euros per megawatt hour. The state will buy from these suppliers 100 megawatts of electricity, which is a capacity of half a bloc from REK Bitola.
