The recently announced package of crisis economic measures amounts to crumbs that the Government gives to its impoverished citizens, hoping to buy their votes ahead of the elections, says VMRO-DPMNE in a statement.

Kovacevski is trying to bribe the voters with 1,000 denars each, while he gave himself and his cronies salary hikes of 78 percent, which will increase further in 2024. He gives himself 50 EUR more a day, and tells the people that they should be satisfied with 1,000 dnars a month, VMRO-DPMNE notes,

According to the party, the Government added hundreds of millions of euros in new debt, through corrupt contracts that had no effect on the economy. “It’s obvious that Kovacevski wants to impoverish the voters, so he could buy them cheaply before the elections”.
