VMRO-DPMNE President Hristijan Mickoski said that the party will continue to fight for every single job it can bring to Macedonia, as the Mayor of Ohrid, Kiril Pecakov, visited one of the largest local employers – ODW Elektrik. The German cables manufacturer invested in Macedonia during the large manufacturing expansion under the previous VMRO-DPMNE led Government.

ODW Elektrik now employs 800 people, making it one of the largest employers in the region. I expressed my gratitude to the company on its choice to invest here and the readiness of the local administration to meet their requirements. Recently, the company moved some of its manufacturing capacities in Ukraine to Ohrid, adding several hundred new jobs, Mayor Pecakov said during the meeting.
