Out of 2,655 COVID-19 tests carried out in Macedonia in the past 24 hours, 990 new cases were registered, the Health Ministry said on Sunday.

New cases were registered in Skopje – 378, Kumanovo-48, Debar-6, Stip-51, Prilep-55, Tetovo-39, Struga-27, Veles-54, Bitola-44, Ohrid-39, Kavadarci-24, Gostivar- 54, Gevgelija-16, Strumica-19, Kriva Palanka-3, Radovis-3, Krusevo-4, Kocani-27, Probistip-2, Demir Hisar-3, Makedonski Brod-4, Pehcevo-4, Berovo-9, Valandovo -1, Vinica-10, Delcevo-8, Kratovo-3, Sveti Nikole-11, Kicevo-14, Resen-11, Negotino-19.

24 people died, including seven patients from Skopje (aged 58, 80, 86, 63, 50, 61 and 45), one from Stip (aged 64), one from Prilep aged (57), one from Tetovo (aged 61), two patients from Bitola (aged 66 and 73), three from Kavadarci (aged 83, 78 and 69), one from Gostivar (aged 46), three patients from Strumica (aged 78, 68 and 59), one from Berovo (aged 41), one from Delcevo (aged 83) and three patients from Kicevo aged (44, 58 and 63). 

The Public Health Institute registered today 382 recovered patients from all over the country.

Since the outbreak of the epidemic, Macedonia has registered 47,050 confirmed coronavirus cases, while 27,364 people have recovered. The death toll stands at 1,305. At the moment, there are 18,381 active cases across the country.
