During the period from scheduling to holding the elections for president and mayor in several municipalities, no construction of building with budget and public funds can start, no wages, pensions, social benefits or other payments that are not regular monthly payments can be made and no procedure for employing new persons or a procedure for termination of employment in state and public institutions can be initiated, the State Commission for Prevention of Corruption has informed.

The State Commission for the Prevention of Corruption will monitor the entire election process and in cases of reasonable suspicion that the law is being violated, it will take measures to establish such suspicions, notify the competent bodies and will require taking action in the framework of their competence, Anti-Corruption Commission said.
