The Appeals Court decided to allow the sale of a book by former Parliament Speaker Stojan Andov. The book was initially banned by a court on the request of former Interior Minister Ljubomir Frckoski.

Frckoski sued Andov for libel after Andov raised questions about Frckoski’s actions after the 1995 attempted assassination of President Kiro Gligorov. Andov also confirmed the long established allegations that Frckoski taking money from Greek intelligence sources in order to get Gligorov to cave on the name issue.

The allegations were published by Gligorov himself, if his own memoirs. Never the less, Frckoski was nominated by the SDSM party as its presidential candidate in 2009 and remains and influential adviser on the left.
