More than 10 times that the allowed limit of concentrations of PM10 particles was measured around midnight in Bitola. The Ministry of Environment’s official air quality website reported that the Bitola 2 measuring station, located in the center of Bitola, measured 341µg/m3.
The “My Air” application, meanwhile, measured a record 821 µg/m3 of PM10 particles.
Bitola is shrouded in fog and air pollution this morning as well. According to the measuring station Bitola 2 this morning at 8:00 shows very high pollution with PM 2.5 particles and high pollution with PM 10 particles. In the industrial part of Bitola, the measuring station Bitola 1 has not been put into operation yet.
In other cities, however, the situation is no better this morning. Strumica, Kocani and Tetovo also breathe polluted air this morning.
