The Zaev Government has not responded to media queries about his secretive meeting with Alexander Soros in Ohrid yesterday.
The son of the left wing activist billionaire George Soros was seen landing at Ohrid airport as Zaev was hosting the Mini Schengen initiative, and is believed to have met with Zaev, Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama, and possibly other visiting Balkan leaders.
The office of President Stevo Pendarovski denied that he attended the meetings Soros had in Ohrid, but said that Pendarovski will meet the billionaire’s son during his trip to Paris this week. Republika asked the Government what was the purpose of the meeting, what was discussed and why was it kept secret, but received no response.
