Working groups will be formed between the political parties that will work on draft comments on the negotiating framework that has been proposed.

The proposal is that two representatives from VMRO-DPMNE and SDSM, one each from DUI and Alliance and another from the smaller parliamentary political parties should be in those working groups between the political parties. The first meeting is expected tomorrow.

This kind of process comes after the call of the leader of the opposition, Hristijan Mickoski, to discuss changes that will improve the proposal and to insert the comments on the text that are harmful to the state and national interests.

The positions of VMRO-DPMNE and the remarks that will be made will reflect the positions that Mickoski announced after the meeting with Kovacevski.

Then the statement of the leader of the opposition Mickoski was “To delete article 11 and article 14 of the Protocol, and then in the negotiating framework where we have principles on which the negotiations are conducted, to delete the articles where the annual reviews and the part where they refer to the protocol of the first intergovernmental conference. Let them be deleted if this ensures a European future, here let them remove these four points. Let the Copenhagen criteria remain as for all countries, Mickoski said.

The proposal of VMRO-DPMNE will be in the direction of protecting the identity, the language, but also breaking away from the Bulgarian megalomaniac demands related to the denial of history.
