The Infectious Diseases Committee recommended to the Government that it orders bars and restaurants to close 18h each day, as well as a ban on mass public gatherings, even for New Year.

As many ads are being put out for vacation homes offered for rent for New Year’s eve, the committee recommends that the ban extends to private gatherings too. Hotels will also be asked to close their restaurants and bars by 21h. 

If the Government approves the recommendations, they will be in effect until mid January.
