The U.S. Embassy’s election observation mission has about 25 teams out all over North Macedonia, Deputy Chief of Mission in the U.S. Embassy in Macedonia Micaela Schweitzer-Bluhm said Sunday in Skopje.
The elections are a very important part for any democracy, and we believe it is very important that voters are able to vote in an atmosphere without intimidation and coercion, and that the voting process is transparent and responsible, Schweitzer-Bluhm said.
She informs that they will review ODIHR assessment and data, but it is useful for them to be out to see the situation on the ground.
