Zoran Zaev and Alternative party leader Afrim Gashi are holding their thid meeting in which they are negotiating expanding Zaev’s coalition, which currently does not have the 61 votes it needs to pass most legislation in Parliament.

Zaev is again accompanied by Deputy Finance Minister Dimitar Kovacevski – his likely successor as SDSM party leader. Gashi is reportedly demanding a high price – three Government departments and one position of Deputy Prime Minister in exchange for supporting Zaev in Parliament. He has four seats in Parliament and would bring Zaev to 63 or 64 votes.
