The Ministries of Health, Transport and Communications, Labor and Social Policy, Education, some courts and prosecutor’s offices are inert when it comes to the Ombudsman’s complaints, which do not provide effective protection of citizens’ rights, the Ombudsman’s analysis shows. Ombudsman Naser Ziberi in an interview with Radio Free Europe said that the ministries are often inert and do not cooperate enough with the Ombudsman.

Mainly the institutions that do not respond on time, and unfortunately I have to point out that there are institutions that do not respond at all, about 10 percent of the institutions do not meet our requirements, including the top management bodies, I refer to the ministries such as the Ministry of health, education, labor and social policy, then a segment of the Ministry of Interior, more specifically the department for internal control and professional standards. But, as I pointed out to you, the prosecution, the Supreme Court and so on, says Ziberi.
