Voter turnout in Saraj is low, as expected, as locals have no interest in voting. This Skopje municipality got a mayor in the first round, so the residents of Saraj today elect only the mayor of Skopje.
On the other hand, a political leader called on the Albanians, who are the dominant population in this municipality, to cast their vote for one of the candidates, who was in Saraj and Kondovo day and night for months. The low turnout in this municipality does not go in favor of the vote account of the candidate for mayor who expects the votes of the Albanians, but it does go in favor of the winter time that started today.
With another hour of night, miracles can happen in Saraj, and this is not a general conclusion. In this municipality, ballot boxes are traditionally stuffed before the closing of the polling stations. As a reminder, so it was in the first round.
