According to the Ukrainian Air Force (VVS), it intercepted 14 of the 19 Russian cruise missiles that were fired this morning.One person lost their life in the incident in the country’s east and center, according to the police. The Ukrainian Air Force spokesperson stated, “Preliminary data indicates that 19 J-101 and J-155 cruise missiles were launched, 14 of which were destroyed.”
The regional governor of Dnepropetrovsk declared via the Telegram app that one person was killed and four injured in the incident.
Using Andriy Kovalev as their spokesperson, Ukrinform claims that Ukrainian forces are still moving forward toward Bakhmut and Melitopol while retaining their positions in other directions. The statement stressed that the hostile forces lost soldiers and military hardware in both directions.
He said that there were eight repulsed attacks in the Zaporozhye region and twenty-four attacks in four directions in the Donetsk region. The Ukrainian soldiers are still preventing the Moscow forces from encircling the settlement in the direction of Avdeevka. 30 hostile strikes were redirected.
In the regions of Marinka and Novomihailovka, another fourteen attacks were repulsed.
The Ukrainian Defense Forces destroyed over 337.220 Russian assailants between February 24, 2022, and December 8, 2023, including 990 on the previous day, according to Ukrinform.
