A heatwave is expected across Europe, for the duration of the summer, while in the Balkans forecasters expect a rise in temperatures but also continued storms and rains.

The brunt of the heatwave is expected to hit Europe from Portugal to Hungary, with temperatures rising up to 40 degrees Centigrade in the south of France. Portugal and Spain can expect temperatures of up to 43 degrees.

Meanwhile, in the Balkans, the summer is expected to bring more storms, strong winds and rains, and even tornado style events.
