Macedonia scored its first win at the European volleyball championship in Slovenia.

Macedonia played Belarus, and after losing the first set 23-25, was able to turn the game around and win 3-1. Captain Nikola Georgiev was the best player in the winning team, with 35 points.

The next match is today, against the hosts Slovenia.
