VMRO-DPMNE President Hristijan Mickoski visited the Gostivar brick factory where he discussed the issues business leaders have with operating in Macedonia. After the visit, Mickoski promised that the opposition party will help businesses thrive .
Domestic businesses will be able to develop if they have the appropriate support from the relevant institutions. Mid sized companies are the backbone of our economy. We can achieve a real economic boom if we cut taxes and administrative regulations and if we ensure that justice and the rule of law are applied. We will do so and we will provide security for the business owners, Mickoski said.
He promised that VMRO-DPMNE will abandon the recently introduced progressive income taxation regime and will return a low flat tax rate to Macedonia, which helped drive economic growth over the past decade.
