The increase of the minimum wage to 18,000 denars (300 EUR) is already spent with the 6.7 percent increase in inflation that we recorded just in January, said the opposition VMRO-DPMNE party.

The increase in the prices of gas, cooking oil and electricity is far above 6.7 percent. We need general growth of all salaries to keep up with the inflation caused by the damaging economic policies conducted by SDSM. Our people are getting poorer and we need to increase wages so they can weather the crisis, VMRO-DPMNE said in a statement.
