The number of workers in the industry dropped 3.2 percent in January and February compared to the same period last year, the Macedonian Bureau of Statistics informed today.
The drop was most notable in industries producing durable consumer goods (6.6 percent) and non-durable goods (4.5 percent), wth lower declines in energy and capital products.
The brunt of the expected coronavirus linked recession still hasn’t been felt throughout out economy.
