We are in a deep energy crisis, and that is the case everywhere, President Stevo Pendarovski said Wednesday on TV 21 on the “Click Plus” show.

He said this when the moderator of TV21 asked him if he planned to call the politicians for talks on the latest situation in the country.

The most common question I get from ordinary citizens is why I do not call the party leaders. We are in a deep energy crisis, it is like that everywhere on the continent, we are highly energy dependent on imports, our domestic facilities are old and we know how much other things can do. I am talking about an energy and political crisis, which shakes the trust of the citizens, Pendarovski said.

The president said he would organize a leaders’ meeting only if the two sides each had 60 members in Parliament, and neither could form a majority.
