The fast paced issuing of new debt continues. The Macedonian Government scheduled a bond issue worth 49 million EUR.

If successful, it will bring the new debt issues for 2019 alone to a significant number of 317.4 million EUR. Just on one occasion two weeks ago, it raised 39 million EUR in new debt.

International financial institutions see Macedonia punching through the 50 percent debt to GDP barrier soon.
