Conservative, free market policies, continue to deliver results in the countries who practice them. The United States, into the third year of the tax and regulation cutting administration of Donald Trump, had the unemployment rate drop to a historic low of 3.3 percent.

JOBS, JOBS, JOBS! Jobs surge in April, unemployment rate falls to lowest since 1969, Trump tweeted after the numbers were announced.

Similarly in Europe, the countries who adopted and stick to right wing, free market policies, are also experiencing strong growth and job gains. Hungary reported an unemployment level of 3.6 percent – 2.6 in the capital Budapest. Wages have grown on the back of strong labor demand and the average salary is at 860 EUR – 1.000 EUR in the capital.

Meanwhile, in the Balkans, lack of continued free market reforms and adherence to collectivist policies from the past has deflated what was once a thriving economic growth story. Radio Free Europe presented the average salaries in 2018 at a graph which shows left wing ran Macedonia firmly at the bottom, even behind Kosovo. The average net salary in Macedonia was 395 EUR for the past year, 25 EUR lower than in penultimate Serbia and 48 EUR lower than in Kosovo. Croatia leads the region with an average salary of 842 EUR.
