Three directors of the M-NAV air traffic control system resigned in protest, after the company hired unqualified personnel close to the ruling DUI party.

According to the press reports, the heads of IT and energy systems in Skopje and the air control technology in the Ohrid airport resigned after M-NAV executive director Fahrudin Hamidi completed the hiring process. Hamidi comes from the DUI party and for months he has faced calls from inside M-NAV to back off from the plan to hire party activists in the sensitive positions. The candidates that were chosen reportedly refused to complete the general knowledge portion of the admission exam.
