Association of teachers asks for shorter classes, more online teaching

An association of teachers is asking that classes are cut from 45 to 30 minutes, to better protect the teachers.

The Teachers’ Plenum also asks that classes larger than 15 pupils are automatically allowed to go into a combined model of in-person teaching and online teaching. The Education Ministry, meanwhile, insists that as much of the teaching as possible is conducted in-person.
