Plusinfo, a news site which has revealed a number of scandals involving the Zaev regime, reports that former Healthcare Minister Venko Filipce approved one last highly lucrative and suspicious move before leaving office in January.
According to Plusinfo, in December Filipce paid out 2.5 million EUR to the Greek Intrakat construction company that has been working on the new clinic in Stip. The Intrakat company has been in court with its subcontractor Beton Stip for two years, as it owes Beton the exact same sum that Minister Filipce paid out in the last days of his term in office. Intrakat claimed that Beton Stip did not complete the work in time and refused to pay.
According to Plusinfo, then Justice Minister Bojan Maricic personally intervened to unblock the account of the Greek company in Macedonia, so that the transfer could be cleared, while Filipce then immediately approved it. The news site believes that this all points to coordination between the Government ministers in this badly delayed contract and to likely corruption
