Members of the Jewish religious organization Lev Tahor, who were expelled from Kumanovo by hostile locals and then faced equally cold reception in Skopje, are now moved in a hotel near Ohrid.
Local media report that the group of nearly 40 members are in the village of Lakoceraj, just north of Ohrid. Once the local realized that the group is here, they began preparations to protest. The group is known for its strict religious views and has been accused of brainwashing its younger members and or abusing children. It includes citizens of the United States, Canada, Belgium, and Latin American countries.
