Parents are scrambling for childcare as the public teachers’ union announced that it will begin a strike on April 11th. The SONK union protests rising costs that have outpaced teacher salaries, and the strike will also include kindergarten teachers.

The Government threatened to bring substitute teachers, especially in the kindergartens, to try to discourage the strike. SONK insists that this is unconstitutional and that the right to strike is guaranteed. They also ask where the Government intends to find 20,000 new kindergarten teachers overnight?
