Today is April 12, the day when the Colored Revolution began, presidential candidate Stevo Pendarovski said on Friday, adding:

When the people, when the citizens in all settlements, villages and towns across Macedonia came out massively to rebel against Ivanov’s criminal decision to pardon over fifty mega criminals from the then regime.

On this occasion I would like to express my utmost respect to all participants of the Colored Revolution, which contributed to Macedonia finally becoming a decent place to live, with democracy, freedom of the media, equality of all citizens, regardless of their ethnicity, religious or particular political party affiliation and I want to join the initiative that began these days, to declare this day, April 12, as a day of protests, I think it has exceptional, not only political symbolism, which should show us that in this country there were events in our recent history, which we have to respect, and on whose good experience, positive experience, we can upgrade new initiatives in that civil sphere that will make better the politics and politicians and the life of all of us who live in this country, the Republic of North Macedonia, he said.
